Ryan developed an interest in value at a young age. What began as a childhood habit of trading and upgrading everyday items evolved into a broader curiosity about how assets are priced, how markets work, and how thoughtful decisions can create long-term financial opportunity.


Ryan, prior to becoming a financial advisor, started by supporting financial advisors behind the scenes, with experience spanning operations, investment distribution, and portfolio strategy. That foundation gave him the opportunity to learn from some of the industry’s leading advisors and see how disciplined planning and investment design can help clients pursue meaningful goals. After earning his CFP® certification, he transitioned into private wealth management to work more directly with the people those strategies were designed to serve.
Working directly in private wealth management gave Ryan valuable experience, but it also clarified what mattered most to him: providing advice in a way that truly puts clients first, instead of pressure from a firm's agenda. That realization led him to leave the traditional brokerage world and join his father’s business, where he took on leadership responsibilities in finance and operations. The experience proved formative, giving him a much deeper understanding of the challenges, tradeoffs, and financial decisions many business owners and families navigate in real life.

When Covid hit, Ryan took the leap to build the kind of practice he had long envisioned where a financial advisor can truly put the client first. With encouragement from his wife, an estate planning attorney and trustee, he launched his own firm and began serving trust clients and families with complex planning needs. As the practice grew, he worked closely with clients navigating trust administration, investment management, retirement planning, and major business transitions.


As his practice continued to grow, Ryan recognized that joining the right team would allow him to deliver even greater value to clients. He found that opportunity with Serenity Wealth Management, where the firm’s shared commitment to client-first advice, collaboration, and high-touch service made the decision a natural fit. With the support of the Serenity team, he is able to spend more time focused on client relationships and planning, backed by the resources of a broader platform.


Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, their two daughters, Olivia and Daphne, and their dog, Harley. Since relocating to Charlotte from Philadelphia in 2024, he has also enjoyed playing tennis and pickleball and getting connected in the local community. Go Birds!
